Dialo's Group's story

This is a group of 17 women who are very active members of the local Banc Villageois created on July 11, 2008. They are all from the same village and get along nicely. Their main activity is small trade.

Mrs. Dialo (sitting at the far right in the photo with her hand raised) is the featured borrower for the group. She is a 60-year-old married mother of five children, three boys and two girls.

She has been a market gardener for over three years. She buys seeds to grow onions, peppers and tomatoes which she sells at various weekly markets in the area.

She can finance her market gardening activity with 50,000F Cfa. She often ends up with a net profit of 30,000F Cfa after deducting all her expenses.

The profits earned through this activity will allow her to take over part of the daily expenses.

In this group: Dialo, Hawa, Adama, Koba, Rouby, Tamba, Coumba Sissao, Sounkarou, Maimouna Alpha, Kadidiatou, Fanta, Aissatou, Kadidiatou, Mariama, Coumba, Dienabou, Ansata
