A loan of $625 helped to build a cattle-shed.

Roza's story

Roza, who is from Kobuleti district, West Georgia, is 42 years old and lives with her husband, two grown sons, her daughter-in-law and a grandson. Roza's husband works as an operator at a petrol station, while her elder son is an artisan and the younger one a contractor for the national army. They earn monthly incomes. Her daughter-in-law works a dance teacher.

Roza runs an agricultural business, growing mandarins and nuts upon a plot of land she owns. In addition, she has a milk cow and produces dairy products. A very hard-working person with rich experience, she sells her agricultural production locally.

Roza plans to expand the dairy farm with additional cows, but the existing cattle-shed won't allow her to implement this plan. She is therefore requesting a loan to build a new one. After it is built, Roza will be able to expand her dairy farm and increase production. With the resulting expanded income, she plans to improve the living conditions of the family.
