Doem is 40 years old and a resident from the Oddar Meanchey province. She is an industrious farmer who pays full attention to a farming business to earn a living. Doem is married to her husband, also her business partner. They have given birth to three children, one of whom is already married and has an independent life. Doem has been farming alongside her spouse for ages.
Doem wants to make improvements to her current business, so she is taking out a loan in the amount of $1,000 to purchase a water pump for carrying enough water to her crop field. With the rest of the funds, she will hire laborers to work on her potato and bean plantations. She hopes to develop her business gradually and ensure a high production each season.
