A loan of $3,700 helped a member to buy fruits and vegetables.

Obra Misionera Group's story

Gladys was the one who helped form this group. She is the current chairperson of the communal bank, and always helps her friends in everything she can. She is a woman who has several children, but with the fruit of her work, she has them all in school and is also very devoted to her group. All the members have their activities they do during the week. Some work selling meals in the evenings, and others on weekends, which is when they have more sales. They are very responsible and supportive of one another, and participate in all the meetings, as well as in the activities that generate more income for them. Gladys does recycling, and sells fruits and vegetables. She is applying for the loan to buy fruits and vegetables so that she can be well-stocked and have a a good variety to offer her customers.
