A loan of $350 helped to buy products for her business.

Eva's story

Eva is 37 years of age, married, and has one son. Her husband works in an assembly plant in the city, and she does different things to help her husband with the household needs. For the past eight years Eva has had a small grocery store in her home, and this gives her a further source of income to help with the family expenses. Eva wants to be able to help her family have more financial income. She therefore helps in her neighborhood by taking various local children to school, and this gives her additional income. She also saw that some of her neighbors were requesting help to look after their children. As a result, Eva now also works in the evenings looking after children, and this has given her a little more income which she uses to help her family. Eva has always looked for a way to keep herself active and productive. This is why she now wants to invest in her small grocery store, as she wants to expand her business and keep her customers satisfied. She has therefore requested a loan, so that she can buy more merchandise and stock her store well.
