A loan of $1,150 helped to buy sand, sawdust and to pay laborers.

Dionicia's story

Dionicia, 58 years of age, is a very hard-working woman. She cares for her son Diofer, with whom she has lived in her sister’s house since he was born. She feels fortunate because her son is a professional and now working. “He helps me and is very good”, she comments. Thanks to the brick factory she has, she was able to help her son get ahead; she has dedicated herself to this work for 30 years. She has the help of laborers, who she hires to work with her. She makes a batch of 25 thousand bricks every month, which she transports by truck to the market that takes place every week in the primary zone of the city for this type of product. There, she obtains good earnings and, so much so, that she hopes to increase the number of bricks she makes every month by contracting more personnel. What she enjoys most is collecting wood for burning the clay molds that she makes. She tells us that it’s fun since she walks in the countryside, her favorite place.

She belongs to the “My Bank” cooperative bank and this loan will be her 5th with MFP. She thanks all of you for your support, given she will obtain the funds necessary to meet her objectives. In addition, she promises to make her loan payments on time, as the members of the association are responsible and unified.

Dionicia will invest the funds she is requesting into the purchase of sand, sawdust and paying the laborers who will help her make the bricks.
