A loan of $475 helped to maintain his vehicle.

Mario's story

Mario is 36 years old and is a hard worker. He lives with his wife, Manuaela, and their four children in a house that they have rented for 2 years. From Monday to Friday in the mornings Mario spends his time working as a bricklayer. This is going very well because he never lacks contracts for building houses. Currently during the afternoons he continues working because he wants to help his children get ahead. Mario has a motorcycle which he uses to transport people who live in the outskirts of the city. He says, “In the afternoons there is more movement, so I work during this time.” In addition, during the weekend he works all day Saturday and Sunday since there are a lot of people going to the livestock and food market which takes place in the city. He already has 10 years of experience in this business. His secret is to always keep his vehicle in the best conditions. “Besides taking care of it, I sell the motorcycle each year in order to buy a new one. This way it never devalues or stops working,” Mario says. This is his fourth loan with MFP. He appreciates their support and that he can continue to invest in the progress of his business. He also promises to be on time with his payments. Mario will invest the money he is asking for to pay for the maintenance of his motorcycle. This way he will be able to continue working without worries.
