A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for a tractor.

Armenuhi's story

Armenuhi lives in Shaghat village, Syunik region, with her husband, son and daughter-in-law. The family is involved in agriculture: they raise sheep, cows, hens, cultivate wheat, barley, potato, grass and grow fruit trees. Armenuhi has applied for this loan to purchase a tractor. "It's very difficult without any agricultural technology. Collection of the grass and harvest requires some investments in connection with hiring workers and organizing transportation. The purchase of our own tractor will reduce our costs and allow us to have more income from agriculture", says Armenuhi.
Armenuhi plans to purchase more lambs in the future. She wants to gather more milk and make cheese, the sales of which bring significant income from agriculture. The present reduction of costs will allow Armenuhi to have sufficient means to reach this goal.
