A loan of $525 helped to buy clothing and toys to sell during the Children's Day season.

Yury Geraldina's story

Yury is 35 years old, married, and has one daughter. She lives in the town of Tela, Atlántida. For seven years, she has been selling new children's clothing, blouses, footwear, perfumes, toys and cosmetics.

She sells door-to-door and by orders. This business is her source of income, and she has made it grow by her good management and by investing money from loans.

Currently she is requesting another loan from ODEF, for 10,000 lempiras, with which she is going to stock up on clothing and toys to take advantage of the Children's Day season.

Her goal for the future is to build her house and continue helping her daughter with her schooling.
