A loan of $1,550 helped to buy sandals, and shoes for children, ladies and men.

Serafina's story

Serafina, 48 years old, is a hard working woman. She is married to Rubén who is 50 years old. They live in their own home that they bought during a period of 14 years of marriage, together with their seven dear children.

Serafina is a hard working woman who works selling shoes. This work began four years ago and she says she has done well in this work, as she is always traveling to different communities to make sales. Her work is carried out with the help of her husband, who accompanies her on each trip in order for her to sell the shoes (children, youth, and adults).

The work that Serafina does is very agreeable as in the course of her trips she meets new people while selling her shoes, but after a lot of traveling she ends up very tired, but even so she does her best to continue working in order to move her family forward.

With the loan that she obtains through lenders, she will travel to Lima in order to stock up on shoes in order to continue with her work plans. This is her fourth loan and she feels happy with the support they provide so she can continue with her work. She agrees to make her payments on time as she has done in previous loans. With the 4,000 soles she will buy sandals, and shoes for children, ladies and men.
