Bertha's story

The member is Bertha. She is 39 years old, single and lives in the district of Santiago in the city of Cusco. The member has a general store and she mainly sells products such as beer, soft drinks, and groceries. Bertha has grown a lot in this activity, so she is opening another general store to sell the same merchandise to meet the customer demand.

The member is very grateful to Kiva for helping her to develop her activity and she agrees to make her payments on time. Bertha belongs to the communal bank Rumbo al Éxito-Santiago in the city of Cusco, Perú.

Bertha hopes to continue growing entrepreneurially to buy a vehicle in order to distribute her products and in the future she hopes to become one of the main suppliers of the products which she sells.
