Johanna Marieliza
Thirty-two-year-old Johanna started her business nine years ago, as she left where she was working because her children were very young and because she also wanted to use her education in art and sewing.

She currently has a sewing studio in her home. Her work schedule starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. One problem she has is that there is very little space in her home. Johanna is married and has two children who are 10 and 6 years old and who attend public school. Her husband works packing shrimp. She will use the loan to improve her home, as she wants to have more room to sew clothing in her studio. One of her goals for the next five years is to expand her business and improve her home.
