A loan of $675 helped to buy a sack of rice, oil, sugar and refreshing drinks for her food stand.

Liria's story

With a loan of 26,250 pesos, Liria has been able to buy a sack of rice, oil, sugar, and refreshing drinks for her food stall. Liria started this business a year ago to help her husband with the household expenses without having to look for a job, as she has a four-year-old daughter that she wants to be there for. In the morning, which is Liria's busiest time, her little girl is in preschool and in the afternoon she is with her at the food stall. Liria's dream is for her business to grow so she can keep helping her husband support their household and to be with her little girl, as she wants to be an active participant in her daughter's upbringing and education.
