Budhiram's story

Budhiram is a 25-year-old differently able person. He is living with his parents and his younger brother, age 23.

He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Arts. Along with this he is doing seasonal business like vegetables and non-timber forest products such as mahua. He has four years of experience in this field. In this way, he earns 2,000 to 2,500 INR in a month.

He has planned to start a fertilizer shop in the village. There is no fertilizer shop near his village and people go to a market nine kilometers away for purchasing fertilizers. The main occupation of the village people is agriculture, so he says a fertilizer business is a suitable business for him. He says that he can earn 4,000 to 5,000 INR per month by selling fertilizers in his shop and make his family happy.

He has requested a loan of 30,000 INR to start a fertilizer shop in his village. He has good knowledge in this business and he has a good relationship with the villagers. He hopes to purchase a bike, so that he can travel easily and grow his business.
