A loan of $200 helped to make improvements to a cow pen.

Cesario's story

Cesario is a 69 year old gentleman who lives in the city of Nazca with his wife and his 3 children, who he loves and are his main reason for living. He is a very friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic person who, alongside his wife, strives to get his family ahead in life.

Unfortunately he was unable to pursue a career in veterinary studies as he had hoped, but he very much would have liked to. In his free time, he likes to go hiking in the countryside and sometimes cooking a delicious dish of chicarrón de chancho (pork crackling) to share with his family.

With a lot of hard work, enthusiasm, and thanks to the Lord's teachings, Cesario set up his small business selling milk. He has a few cows which he milks, and he starts work every day in the early hours of the morning. He can work roughly 10 hours a day and believes that the business is going well as a result of his dedication and the way he handles customers.

Cesario is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, as thanks to the help given, he will be able to make improvements to the cow pen where he rears his cows. In this way, Cesario will rear his animals in a more appropriate and safe place so that they grow better. Through this improvement, he hopes to grow his sales and his financial income, which will enable him to buy more cows and expand the business in the not-so-distant future.
