Walter's story

Walter, 44, is married and has two children. He lives in the Tambo Real District, Anta Province. He is continuing with his main job, which is ranching, but he also works operating heavy machinery. He has done with work for several years and this is how he is moving his family forward. Walter needs to improve his barn infrastructure, so he will invest the loan in enlarging and improving his farm and his barn. For this he needs to buy construction materials like wood and cement.

Walter is very thankful to Kiva for helping him to stay engaged and growing in his work and he promises to make his payments on time. Walter belongs to the communal bank San Bartolo de Tambo Real, in the Tambo Real District, Anta Province, in Cusco, Peru. He wants to provide a better life and education for his children, and he sacrifices for them. This is why he hopes to work a lot and save to invest in their education.
