A loan of $675 helped buy children's clothes, underwear, pants, shirts, and blouses for her business.

Maria Saturdina's story

Maria, 53 years old and single, has been dedicated for 11 years now to selling new clothes. She lives in the home of a family member with her 2 grandchildren, in the community of Agua Fria in southern Honduras. In her business she sells clothing for men, women and children.

Maria needs the requested loan to buy children's clothing, underwear, pants, shirts, and blouses. Now that Children's Day is approaching, she has various orders from her customers and that is why she is approaching Prisma for a loan of 13,000 [Lempiras] in refinancing. With the help of the loan, Maria intends to forge ahead, investing in her business, since she is a single woman who receives no help from anyone. She hopes to get ahead with the help of the loans Prisma offers.

Maria's goal is to make her business grow and to sell more each day, in order to improve her quality of life and build her own house.
