A loan of $3,175 helped a member to purchase flour.

Jesus Es Mi Pastor Group's story

The communal bank Jesus Es Mi Pastor comprises eight members, all of them women.

Juana is the bank President. She is forty years old and works making and selling bread. She has her own bakery, which is located in her home, in the Arco Iris area. This loan is her eighth cycle within the institution. Juana is going to use this loan to purchase flour in bulk so that she can offer her customers better service by making a variety of pastries, and increase her earnings. Her reason for requesting this loan is to continue improving her business. Juana is going to use the profits to continue purchasing utensils and supplies to make her breads and pastries.

Juana is a very hard worker and is happy with the opportunity she is being offered along with her fellow members of the group, because in some cases they are supporting their families alone.

In this group: Juana, Veronica, Yaquelin, Aida, Claudia, Mayerma, Katerin, Maria Lilybeth
