A loan of $3,325 helped a member to buy wool.

Constructor Ii Group's story

The Communal Bank "Constructor II", as part of the Regional Hub Los Andes, will start the second round in Pro Mujer. It has nine members and is led by a board where Ana María is the President. The businesses that members of the association carry out are varied, and among them there are: selling hats, selling potato flour and potato, blanket and macramé weaving, layettes knitting, tailoring and selling of sweatpants, selling of chicken pipocas.

The loan they are requesting will benefit small microentrepreneurs where Ana María is a member. She indicates that she has belonged to Pro Mujer for four years, when she entered by invitation of a friend who is a member of the institution. Today, she has a craft business (production of blankets), the same she launched with the first loan from the institution.

The loan she is requesting now is to increase capital (purchase of wool) that she will buy from wholesalers and after the production she will sell it in her permanent stall on weekends. This way to work allows her to generate sources to support her financially. When asked about what she likes about Pro Mujer, she answers that she likes the area of health and training.

In this group: Ana Maria, Filomena, Paulina , Irma , Victoria , Yenny Victoria , Julieta Beatrz , Adela, Catalina
