A loan of $675 helped a member to buy fertilizer for her farmland.

Meth's Group's story

Meth, a citizen from Pursat province's Kror Kor district, is a 38-year-old married mother of five children. Some of her children are in school, while the remaining are too young to attend school. She has been growing paddy rice for 13 years in order to support the rest of her family. This is Meth's second loan with Kiva's partner VisionFund. She has succeeded in paying back the entire previous loan and providing a good standard of living for her family – especially her children. Now, Meth is the leader of a group of three women seeking a new loan. She will use her loan portion to buy fertilizer for her farmland. She expects to double her income through her business and maintain her lifestyle.
