Kim Ly is 27 years old. She is married and resides with one child in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than a year, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband runs the business of selling gas, firewood and charcoal. He earns about $5 per day.
Kim Ly is requesting a loan of $650 to purchase a small car for her husband to carry his gas to sell in the village. In the future, she would like to expand the business and send her child to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
