A loan of $525 helped to buy meat, chicken, vegetables, condiments, rice, beans and other items to make the food to sell.

Olga Araminta's story

Olga, age 48, is a single mother with seven children. She lives with them in the Mezapa Atlántida municipality.

She makes food, and she sells lunches by order. She has had this business for six years, and she devotes all of her time to it. She provides lunch to her customers on Mondays through Fridays, and all day on Saturday.

She is requesting a loan from ODEF for 10,000 lempiras to buy supplies like meat, vegetables, chicken, and condiments, etc. in order to make the food. With this investment she hopes to get the income that she needs to cover her children’s educational expenses.

Her goal is to increase her clientele and to have her children complete their education.
