A loan of $1,275 helped to buy agricultural inputs for maintaining his crops.

Daniel Ezequiel's story

Daniel has been a farmer for many years. He lives in the municipality of Ticuantepe. Along with his wife, they have made ends meet. She works in commerce and sells fruits and vegetables in Managua so they can earn more income. Daniel has two manzanas [unit of land] where he plants pineapples and dragon fruit. However, with the weather and pests that devastate these plants, he urgently needs to do some maintenance so that his crops will be of good quality. Thanks to this loan he will be able to buy the necessary items, such as: urea, complete fertilizer, and triple fertilizer, among other products and fertilizers to give the needed maintenance to his plants. He is very grateful for the support provided and, above all, for the trust that Afodenic and Kiva have shown him.
