A loan of $325 helped to purchase sheep.

William's story

William is a young family man originally from Chupaca. He is 32 years old and lives with his wife and child in his mother's house.

He has six years of experience as a musician. He plays bass and is a guitar player. He is in a local band that plays several music styles, from traditional folk to more modern rock and cumbia. His band gets weekly contracts so he always has work. There are even times when they charge by the hour. William's big dream is to start his own band and write his own songs. He learned everything he knows about music from some friends who taught him how to play. However, he would like to develop a deeper understanding of all kinds of music because, as he says, "customers like to hear all kinds of things."

The other business they have is selling animals at the livestock market in their area, because ever since he was a child his parents taught him this trade. His projects are to increase his work capital and his number of animals.

He belongs to the solidarity group Cristo Rey and this is his third loan with MFP. He feels fulfilled there because he gets the help he needs for his business to advance. That is why he promises to pay his installments on time. He also enjoys working with his group beacuse they are responsible and supportive people.

William will invest the money requested in the purchase of sheep for his business and, if there is enough money, to upgrade his musical instruments.
