A loan of $1,175 helped to refurbish the mechanical rides.

Maria De Los Angeles's story

María de los Ángeles was born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua (México) but for the last 8 years has been living in the city of García (a municipality in the State of Nuevo León) with her parents who taught her the business of mechanical rides since that’s what they did and at a difficult moment they went through had to sell their rides.

At the age of 24, María married Sergio and they have six children: Rosalía, Gabriel, Sergio, Oswaldo, Rosa and Laura. She started out selling toys in various movable street fairs and six months ago started to buy some mechanical rides. She goes from neighborhood to neighborhood setting up a small fair to entertain children.

She needs a loan now to improve the appearance and hygiene of the mechanical rides and also to stock up on toys to sell at the fairs the children in the community attend. Her children and her 12 grandchildren live with her and she has had to help move them forward. María is very enthusiastic thinking that her business will give her much satisfaction.
