A loan of $775 helped to purchase a saw and lumber.

Wilson's story

Wilson is a 24 year old working man who lives with his wife Angélica and their daughter Isabela, but very soon they will have another member in the family as his wife is pregnant. As a family, they have lived in a rented home for the past four years. The area they live in is ideal for making bricks, and during the past four years, he has used the land for brick-making, in which he labors with great care since his household income depends on his work.
He shares the factory with his brother-in-law since they have a business together.

He says that his main income comes from selling thousands of bricks to business and government entities, which increases his earnings since he can sell larger quantities. He can also take advantage of the summer as well as the fact that the factory is located next to his house, to monitor the drying of the bricks. During this time, he has had a lot of competition which will lead to a shortage of sand with in the next few years. Due to this, he wants to start raising cows, and intensify that effort once he stops making bricks.

This is his second loan with MFP, to whom he is very grateful of for their support which has allowed him to continue to invest in the growth of his business. Furthermore, he promises to be punctual with his payments. Wilson will invest this money in the purchase of a saw and lumber to continue with his brick-making.
