Purity's story

Purity is 39 years old, married to James, and blessed with four children aged 17, 16, 12 and 10 years.

She operates a retail shop, a business she started 12 years ago and earns a monthly income of KES 30,000. She has requested a second loan of KES 100,000 to purchase 10 crates of sodas, juices, Weetabix, cooking oil, bars of soap and washing detergent for resale.

The profit she makes will aid her in purchasing additional stock. She dreams of owning a chain of businesses such as a supermarket with M-pesa (money transfer) shop in the future.
