A loan of $1,475 helped to buy a motorbike so that he can offer taxi service.

Edwin Henry's story

Edwin, 23, is a day laborer who lives in the city of Chimoré in Cochabamba department. He does bricklaying and building repairs. Edwin is modest and is used to farm work. He is single and has no children. He has been working since childhood, as his family had few financial resources and he had to get by with almost no help from his parents. Being young, he sorely missed his family's support. He got involved with people of dubious character and began drinking, wasting most of the money he earned.

Now he has reconsidered and changed this situation because he knows he has to take care of himself. He works hard so that he can save and be able to buy his own things. He found out about Kiva loans. Wishing to find another income source as a motor taxi driver, he is requesting a loan to buy a motorbike so that he can earn more income and save for whatever the future holds.
