Phannara is 30 years old. She is married and lives with three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than three years, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver who earns about $3 daily. In order to improve her family’s finances, Phannara is requesting a loan of $500 to purchase piglets to breed and resell when they gain weight. By doing so, she would earn additional income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school.
