Pisco, Peru / Clothing Sales

A loan of $775 helped to buy merchandise for his business.

Max Anderson's story

Max, 20, is single living in the city of Pisco with his parents and siblings. He’s a very kind, hardworking, enthusiastic man who very much wants to improve. Unfortunately, he was unable to go to university but would have liked to very much. In his free time he enjoys playing sports and sometimes cooks a delicious “Arroz con Pato” [Rice with Duck] to share with his family.

Thanks to much effort, enthusiasm and help from his mother, Max started his small clothing sales business. He starts work very early in the morning every day. He may work up to ten hours daily and believes he does well thanks to the good variety of stylish clothes he has on offer.

Max is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to their help he will be able to buy merchandise like pants, shirts, jackets, sweaters, etc. for his business. In this way, Max will have his business better stocked and he hopes to thus increase sales and income that will be very useful so that in the not too distant future he will be able to have a store and a house of his own to expand his business.
