Fanny's story

Fanny is a 24 year old woman who lives in the city of Camaná with her partner who she loves and with whom she wishes to start a family. She is a very kind, hardworking, and enthusiastic person with a great desire to overcome. Regrettably, because of a lack of economic resources, she was not able to study for a professional degree. But, she would very much have liked to do so. In her free time, she likes to watch movies and sometimes to cook a delicious Lomo Saltado (a Peruvian-Asian stir fry) to share with her family.
Thanks to support from her partner, and with much effort and enthusiasm, Fanny was able to start her little business selling stationary items. She starts work everyday in the early hours and works for about 10 hours a day. She feels comfortable doing her work and believes that it is going well because of the kind and respectful way that she treats her clients.
Fanny is very grateful to the Kiva lenders as, thanks to the support that they have offered her, she will be able to buy stock such as folders, pens, paper, notebooks, and other stationary supplies. This will enable Fanny to have a well-supplied store and she hopes that this will help her to increase her sales and income which she will save-up little by little to buy a motorbike-van to start a small business. In this way she will keep working and striving to get ahead.
