A loan of $325 helped to buy a computer.

Corina Fernanda's story

Corina is a 20-year-old woman who lives in the city of Ica together with her parents and her young son. She is a very kind, keen, hard-working person who puts a lot of effort into doing well and providing for her family. Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, she is separated from her partner and is now both mother and father to her son. Thanks to her own efforts and the support of her family, Corina is studying for a law degree. In her free time she enjoys reading and sometimes cooks a delicious meal of duck and rice to share with her family.

Corina puts a lot of effort and enthusiasm into her work serving customers at a fast food restaurant in her city. She works every day and has a very early start. She works approximately six hours a day and believes that she is doing well because she performs her duties well and with dedication, and treats others in a friendly manner.

Corina is very grateful to Kiva lenders because, thanks to their help, she will be able to buy a computer. This will be very useful for her studies as she will be able to do her assignments on it. She will have the piece of equipment she needs to study successfully. This will allow her to continue working hard so that she and her family can make progress in life and she can become a good professional.
