Charles's story

Charles is a 47-year-old married man with 12 children living in Kasese, Uganda. After accumulating 800,000 shillings from his personal savings, Charles set up a clothing shop in order to earn more income for the family. The business has been profitable as it is currently worth 3,000,000 shillings. His hardships are inadequate capital to purchase stock, price fluctuations and inflation. His personal goals are educating his children and buying a car, while his business goals are expanding his business into new markets and diversifying his business to include farming.
