A loan of $3,750 helped a member to buy tables and chairs for her business.

Pedro Lorenzo Group's story

The "Pedro Lorenzo" communal bank is made up of nine members, all women. The chairperson is Maryluz. She sells food at her stand, located in the community of Pedro Lorenzo, the place from which the group gets its name.

This is her second loan with the institution, and Maryluz is going to use it to buy tables and chairs for her business, to this way offer greater comfort to her customers. Her reason for requesting this loan is to continue improving her business.

Mariluz is going to use the profits to continue buying supplies, and keep improving her income this way. Her wish for her business is to have a restaurant, and this way offer better service to her clientele.

Mariluz is a very hard-working person. She feels happy about the opportunity offered to her and to her fellow group members, as in many cases they are people who are raising their families on their own.

In this group: Cristina, Esilda, Salome, Kleidy Karen, Maria Esther, Maria Estela, Maryluz, Maribel, Doris
