Bwagonga Tukore Group's story

Bwagoga Tukore group is located on the outskirts of Ibanda town. The group is comprised of people whose main economic activity is agriculture.

Adrine is a single mother of three and a member of Bwagonga Tukore Group. She has requested a loan of 300,000 ugx to buy manure in the form of cow dung for her banana plantation. Adrine will use the money to buy cow dung, transport it and pay for labor, since she cannot work alone. In six months, Adrine expects a high yield from her banana plantation. She will use the profits to send her first daughter to the university.

Adrine also hopes to buy another piece of land and expand her banana plantation from the proceeds of her next loan. Thereafter she can construct a permanent house for her family.

Adrine is a very creative, focused and hardworking lady.
