A loan of $400 helped to buy animal feed.

Alex David's story

Alex, 22, has a spouse and a son in his care. He lives with his spouse and minor son in his own house located in Caserío Charan Coposo in Tambogrande District, a district dedicated primarily to growing fruit that’s processed for export to other countries. It belongs to Piura Province in Piura Region located more than three hours from the city of Chiclayo. Alex lives in the rural part of the district but does have electricity.

Alex works raising small farm animals (sheep, pigs and barnyard fowl) that when they reach ideal size and weight are sold in the local market. He has more than four years’ experience raising animals. He’s also a regular employee at a large agricultural firm where he’s paid every two weeks. He’s able to cover his and his family’s expenses with his income.

Alex wants to buy feed to improve his animals’ care and obtain better production so that he can continue forward with his business which is why he’s asked Edpyme Alternativa for a 1000 new sol loan to help him reach his objective.
