A loan of $400 helped to buy various products for his store such as canned goods, drinks, vegetables, etc.

Guillermo's story

Guillermo is a responsible man who is highly dedicated to his family. He is 27 years of age and married to Teofila, who is 43. Together they have three children, and they want to make sure that they have a good quality of life. They own the house where they live, which they bought thanks to their work.

Thanks to the years that Guillermo spent working in the field, he was able to open a store in his home, where his wife works. He opened the store three years ago, and says that there is always income as the local people visit him daily to buy the items they need to prepare their meals. He sells canned goods, vegetables, meat, cereals and other items in the store, and when he runs out of stock he goes to MFP so that he can buy supplies. Over time, Guillermo and his wife would like to expand their business to sell wholesale.

This is Guillermo’s 14th loan with MFP, and once again he has expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him. He is a very responsible person with his payments, and gets on well with the other members of his communal bank, so is an example to follow. With this loan of 1,000 Nuevos Soles, Guillermo plans to buy various products for his store such as canned goods, drinks, vegetables, etc.
