Norma's story

Sra. Norma, 35 years old, is married and the mother of four children. For the past five years she has had a business selling fish, soft drinks, groceries and basic grains located in the village of El Comercio in San Lorenzo municipality in the southern part of Honduras.

Doña Norma is a very modest and hardworking woman who wants to excel. Her business is growing because her customers prefer her due to the friendly way she waits on them. She is requesting a loan of 20,000 HNL (Honduran lempira) in order to stock her store with products such as fish, juice, soft drinks, meat, eggs, bread, coffee, corn, rice, sugar, butter, oil, vegetables, condiments and other consumption products. She wants to improve her home with her profits.

Doña Norma’s dream is to own the best business in the community.
