A loan of $300 helped to buy basic necessity products (oil, soaps, etc.).

Elisabeth's story

Elisabeth is a 62-year-old woman, who is widowed and mother to one child aged 39. She also has a further five people under her care, and has worked in retail in a neighborhood in the capital for the past five years. Elisabeth’s good relations with her neighbors have allowed her to increase her customer base. However, due to permanent stock shortages, she cannot meet her customers’ requests.

Elisabeth has requested a loan to expand her business (buying basic necessity products such as soaps and oil to meet the needs of her large customer base). The profits generated will allow her to increase her stocks, save, and provide for her family.
