Sara Pilar is 53 years old and a single mother of two children. She lives with her children in the city of Ventanas, de Los Rios Province.

Sara Pilar is a member of the communal back "30 de Julio" (30th of July), which is located in the Zapotal precinct, a part of Ventanas Canton. The members make their livings in agriculture.

Sara Pilar makes her living in agriculture. She plants, rice, beans and corn. She is requesting the loan to purchase supplies: fertilizers, urea, compost and liquid Mata Monte (an herbicide).

Sara Pilar purchases her supplies and sells her products in Ventanas every two weeks. With the help of the loan, she will be able to purchase more supplies.

She faces challenges, like pests and fungus, in her crops. Sara Pilar's dream is to have a greater income. In her free time, she likes to go for walks.
