Nasiyka's story

Nasiyka is 42 years old, married, and is raising 4 children, the youngest of whom is 1. Since 1996, Nasiyka has been growing crops and raising livestock, having started her business with a sum of 3,000 som (KGS). Presently, her business includes 1 dairy cow with offspring, 2 calves and 1 horse, as well as 3.6 hectares of land sown with potatoes, sainfoin and barley. Nasiyka's monthly profits amount to roughly 6,000 som (KGS), which allows her to cover her family's daily expenditures on food and household needs.

In order to continue developing her business, Nasiyka has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 130,000 som (KGS) to purchase more dairy cows and thereby increase her profits from sales of milk and dairy products. Nasiyka plans to invest her additional profits into further expansion of her business so that in time she can save enough money for her middle son's university education.
