A loan of $1,500 helped to buy jewelry for her daughter.

Monandniso's story

Monandniso sells women's rain jackets and coats at the local market. Her business is seasonal, so she is in need of a loan until the off-season ends. Monandniso has arranged a marriage for her daughter, and is facing many expenses associated with the wedding. Her husband is in Russia as a migrant worker and sends money home every month, but his income is also irregular.

This is Monandniso's sixth loan, and she strives to use the loans effectively and not let the microfinance institution down. She wants to use this loan to buy jewelry for her daughter's dowry. She always counts on the institution's support, and thanks the organization for its understanding.
