A loan of $975 helped to buy female guinea pigs, so she can continue breeding these little animals. She will also buy wool of different colors.

Hilda's story

Hilda is 48 years old. She is married to Moisés, with whom she has five children. Now, only two of their children, Shirley and Mayra, live with them.

Her business for the last three years has been raising guinea pigs. "It was a good idea to get into raising guinea pigs for wholesale and retail, although getting started was pretty hard for me," she says. She knows that everything happens through effort and will, and has started to improve her farm with better quality guinea pigs to be able to sell them at a higher price. She also works at knitting; her main garments are hats of all sizes and colors.

Hilda belongs to the "Telarmachay" communal bank, and this is her tenth loan with MFP. She promises to be punctual with her loan payments. Hilda will invest the requested money in the purchase of female guinea pigs, so she can continue breeding these little animals. She will also buy wool af different colors.
