A loan of $775 helped to buy gasoline, kerosene and funnels.

Justo's story

Julio, 54, is married to Domitila and has two daughters: Roxana and Viviana. He rents his house. He sells fuels like gasoline, petroleum and kerosene. To do so he set up a sales point at home. He started this business four years ago because vehicle drivers who circulate in the area frequently need fuel. Justo is the only one offering this service. He also weaves textiles with his wife thus earning extra income to cover other expenses. His goal is to build a house of his own and this is why he works so hard to save up enough money to start this project.

He belongs to the “Telarmachay” communal bank and this is his 5th MFP loan. He feels happy with all the work he’s accomplished to date. He mentions that he will be very punctual with his monthly installment payments. He will use the money from this loan to buy a cylinder of gasoline, half a cylinder of kerosene and funnels to continue with his business.
