A loan of $775 helped to purchase groceries.

Piedad Mirena's story

Piedad is 25 years old, and she is single with no children. She lives in the neighborhood El Colegio in Gualcao, Olancho. She started her grocery store five years ago. Her store is located in her home, and she operates it seven days a week from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm. The difficulties facing her business include the high cost of goods and the lack of personal income among her customers. Both of these factors have resulted in a decrease in sales.

She is seeking this loan so she can purchase products such as rice, sugar, meats, beans, soap, detergent, eggs, sweets, soft drinks and other items. With the help of this loan she will be able to supply her business and offer her customers everything they need. Her goal is to continue to expand her business day by day. This is her first loan with FAMA, and she hopes to be able to repay her loan in a punctual manner.
