A loan of $1,725 helped to purchase cattle.

Ainusa's story

Ainusa is 64 years old. She has been raising livestock and growing produce since 1985, having launched this business with a starting capital of 2,000 KGS. At present, Ainusa’s farm includes three dairy cows, 25 sheep, and 1.2 ha [about 3 acres] of land used for planting corn and potatoes. Her monthly revenues are about 10,000 KGS. Ainusa’s revenues have made it possible for her to buy an old, USSR-manufactured car for her business. In order to grow her business further, Ainusa turned to “Bai Tushum & Partners” for a loan in the amount of 80,000 intended for the purchase of dairy cows in order to increase her revenues from selling milk and dairy products. Ainusa plans to reinvest her revenues in a further expansion of her farm.
