Nankafu, the representative of the business group Riziki Mupya, is an entrepreneur, married woman about 48 years old, the mother of 13 children. All of Nankafu's children attend school, and them are solicitors, lawyers, and university students. Nankafu is a seller of used clothing and an authorized distributor of mobile phone cards. Her husband is a high-ranking government official with the State Airways Agency (RVA).

Nankafu began her business with her own funds. She sets her merchandise out by the side of the road, at the customs entrance of RD Congo-Rwanda. She has been doing this for 16 years. During this time, Nankafu has completed 17 loans with Hekima's microcredit program. This new loan will allow her to stock up with one bundle of second-hand clothing. Additionally, she hopes to send her children to school. Nankafu thanks Hekima for its activities helping poor women who are excluded from traditional banking institutions.

La cliente Nankafu, représentante du groupe d’affaire « Riziki Mupya », est entrepreneur, âgée d’environs 48 ans, mariée, mère de 13 enfants, tous étudient, parmi lequel, il y a des juristes avocats et des universitaires. Elle est vendeuse de friperie et distributeur agrégée des cartes des unités de téléphone cellulaire. Son mari est un haut fonctionnaire de la Régie de voies ariennes (RVA). Elle a commencé son business avec son fonds propre. Elle étale ses marchandise au long de la route, à l’entrée de la douane RD Congo-Rwanda. Il y a 16 ans révolus qu’elle exerce cette activité. Cependant, elle vient de réaliser 17 cycles dans le programme de microcrédit de Hekima. Ce nouveau crédit doit lui servir de s’approvisionner avec 1 ballons de friperie. En plus, elle ambitionne scolariser ses enfants. La cliente remercie Hekima pour ses actions en faveur de pauvres femmes exclues de banque classique.

HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
