A loan of $525 helped to buy buckets, dishes, cups, sandals and umbrellas for her business.

Loyda's story

Señora Loyda is very entrepreneurial and dedicated to her own business, in spite of her age. She is a senior citizen and currently lives with her daughters and grandchildren. She is a widow and resides with her family in Choluteca in southern Honduras. Her business is the sale of plastic items.

Loyda needs a loan to buy plastic products like buckets, dishes, cups, sandals and umbrellas. She hopes that with this loan she will make more sales.

One of Loyda's dreams is for her grandchildren to graduate, and also to open another business of the same type and be able to help her family.
