A loan of $400 helped to buy corn and propane gas to help with her business.

Reina Isabel's story

Reina Isabel, 59, lives with her two daughters who help out with the business, and she also has two grandchildren. Reina has had a tortilla production business for 10 years. She has worked hard for the welfare of her children - she is a very dedicated mother with a great desire to succeed.

Reina applied for a loan in order to buy corn for making tortillas. She has a very good customer base and she wants to be able serve even more customers. She often runs out of corn which has meant that she is unable to serve more people, which is why she is applying for this loan - so that she can buy more raw ingredients in order to increase sales and earnings. Reina's desire is to keep her business going, so that she can continue working. She is greatly helped by being able to work from her home.
