A loan of $2,125 helped to repair a cattle-shed and purchase a milk cow.

Nugzar's story

Nugzar is 35 years old and lives in a small village of Tsalka district. He is married and has three children: 12, 15 and 17 years old. They go to the local school. The main source of income for the family is agriculture. In particular, they own four milk cows, 12 calves and sell cheese locally. Also they have a plot of land where potatoes are grown. Part of the harvested product is sold on the local market. With the loan received from Credo, Nugzar plans to repair his cattle-shed and purchase an additional milking cow. He plans to expand the dairy farm through adding additional cows, but the existing cattle-shed doesn’t allow him to implement this plan. Once his cattle-shed is larger, he will expand his animal husbandry business and the family’s income from the sale of dairy products will increase. He will reinvest the additional earnings to expand his agricultural enterprise and make it more profitable. Nugzar awaits your support.
